We celebrated Labeler Day
(D's pronunciation) with a relaxing four-day family weekend. In addition to lots of time on the couch, we took a final outdoor swim and saw some friends. D and I also drove out east to meet cousin M and aunt S at a horse show. The visit was a great change of pace for us -- it was lots of fun being in the "horse" world for a day! We are so proud of cousin M and her riding experience.
I asked D to take a break from drawing elevators to sketch some horses.
It was very interesting to watch cousin M take control of this beautiful horse. We were very impressed. I also had some giggles watching her friend constantly sending texts that afternoon -- even in the barn. (!)
