The water was freezing cold, but the boys chased after waves and got their feet wet anyway. They were really sweet to watch as they acclimated to the beach.
H was the perfect beach bum. I love this line of palm trees behind the beach, too
D started making sand castles and watching them disappear in the tide. He laughed and laughed.
We spotted a group of dolphins out in the surf. The boys were very excited.

This community beachhouse in Santa Monica is fabulous. There is a guest house, a pool house, a cafe, a playscape, and the beach! We spent lots of time here.
We loved eating on the beach! So beautiful.
That evening we went to see our friends at their house for dinner and playtime.
