We had a relaxing lunch in Sedona and headed north to the Grand Canyon.
About 15 miles north of Sedona we hit SNOW! Huge surprise. Never on the Weather Channel forecast. The snow only got heavier as we headed north. It was a winter wonderland!
I'm so thankful that Paul can drive through the canyon. We had a huge elevation jump and plenty of death-defying turns near the edge of the road. My camera couldn't pick up the steep elevation drops over the guardrails.
We drove through Williams. AZ and the old Route 66. Way too cold to jump out and play in the historic town. Wind chills were very low!
We really couldn't believe the snow storm. It was called a "Bomb Cyclone" that started suddenly in Colorado, and the Grand Canyon area was the southern tip of it.
