November Activities

The first week of November has come and gone. At this rate 2010 will be over in a flash.

D is getting so big. Here he is out of his school uniform and in some cool threads:

D is still doing great in his piano lessons. His teacher at school thinks D is a "future jazz musician". Here is a quick two-minute clip of D playing "Baby Elephant Walk". We have no idea how he is following along with any written music because his teacher has never sent any home. The sheet music in front of him on the piano does not include this song ... and you will see he never looks at the sheet music anyway! Click on the link:

The volume in our living area grows exponentially at dinnertime especially when Daddy is at home. Here are the boys enjoying their time together poking fun at Daddy. D created a new nickname for his Daddy ... it is just a sound ... not a name ... so I can't really spell it!

Little H has been obsessed with playdoh this week. We've played with playdoh multiple times each morning and afternoon. These pictures capture his pancake with green peas and yellow egg creation. He just loves rolling out the dough to make "snakes" too.

D was seated across from H while I was videotaping the playdoh playtime. D wanted me to film him "acting" like he was doing his homework. He also picks his nose at the end for a laugh ... so little boy.

I wanted to include some pictures of H in front of his favorite movie for our scrapbook. H likes to watch the scene in "Up" when the large balloons lift up the house. He watches the "balloons" several times every day. It is very cute. I love to see H seated on the edge of the ottoman. He sits there every time with his eyes peeled on the screen.

Happy November!
