Yellowstone - Day Two - Part Three!

Our hike ended at the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone.

Our guides led us on a trust walk.  They wanted to surprise us with the view.  I was glad we were holding on to each other.  There were no guide rails on this remote side of the canyon.

Words can't describe it.  Even the 19th-century artist Thomas Moran said that there weren't enough pigments available to paint it.  I believe it!  What an amazing site.   My photographs are not doctored!

We drove through Hayden Meadow and spotted groups of bison and elk.  Another surprise treat from our guides!

Headed back to West Yellowstone and the hotel.  Excited to be sitting!

The boys fell asleep on the way.  I'll admit it -- I fell asleep too!

A great ending to a BIG day - dessert!!
