Morning in the North Rim

We drove to the eastern side of the park this morning.  A great way to beat the crowd at the Visitor Center.  We only saw 6 other tourists on the paths before noon!  

The park's herd of bison welcomed us in after the main entrance.  Awesomeness!

First stop: Vista Escalante

Way in the hazy distance is the Painted Desert, the area we drove through on our way north to the park.  It looks a lot prettier from this view!

I'm suddenly realizing that Henry is growing taller on this trip!!

Henry loved walking out on Angels Window!  That little spec of orange shirt is Henry.  (No worries -- there is a guardrail out there.)
