Road Trip 2023! Day One

We made it to Amarillo today.  Henry humored me by visiting the tacky and silly Route 66 tourist traps.  He chose not to eat a steak at the Big Texan (smart!) and painted at Cadillac Ranch.  

He even agreed to get out of the car for a quick photo at this giant Rubik's Cube in Chillicothe.   I love the quirky finds on the road.  

You know you are on the road with a teenager when the first meal requested is Whataburger.
