The boys' enthusiasm for baseball just keeps growing. We must play ball in the backyard and watch part of a game on TV everyday. H is now following several teams, memorizing the players, their game stats, etc. He has also started collecting baseball cards and sorts through them every day.
We attended another Rangers game on a "Firework Friday." The game included memorable moments for us as a family. D wore his new ear filter and enjoyed the game like never before. A very special night.
H is fascinated with the MLB players and how they play the game. He talks endlessly about their pitching, throwing and catching moves. He imitates their swings as he watches the players on tv. He is a big fan of Rougned Odor, a Rangers outfielder and the youngest player in the MLB. H was delighted when we found him some sunglasses similar to Odor's. Here he is very proud of himself:
H has also been studying his baseball cards and replays of the MLB All-Star Game. He has already starting writing lists of baseball player team t-shirts that he wants from Santa this year. He works on his lists organized by team roster everyday.
Sadly, our Rangers need all the help they can get this season. I am very proud of the boys and their allegiance to our home team despite their awful record this season. I caught H watching the Rangers in this outfit. He said he just wanted to "snorkel".
