Traveling with My Boys

The boys (all three of them) have done a great job road tripping.  IPads, DVD's, and WiFi play a big part in their happiness, of course!   I've been very proud of them surviving through a lot of driving and new places.

It helps to have an assortment of comforts.  We are traveling with five clocks and one fan for D.  D sets all the clock alarms to ring simultaneously every morning around 7:30 am.  It's very exciting to hear especially Darth Vadar's voice telling us to wake up.   Darth Vadar exclaims "May the Force Be With You!" every morning!  And there is H's constant best friend, Blue Dog.

D is doing an excellent job tolerating H's constant chatting in the car.  Here's a progression from love to not-so-love:

The power cord for our DVD player broke in Nebraska.  So Dad made a quick, sharp 90-degree turn at top speed into the Walmart in Chadron, NE for a replacement!   This new DVD player can play separate movies per screen so the boys can watch their own movie.   We set it up today on our way to North Dakota.  The boys were delighted -- their own movies!! D said, "I have tears, I am so excited!"

Brotherly love!
